City of Watkinsville
Rooted in the creativity and character of Watkinsville, the new visual identity features a bold brushstroke ‘W’ paired with an Americana-inspired color palette. Since its launch in fall 2022, the brand has brought fresh energy to the city, transforming gateway and wayfinding signage and spreading through the community on branded items like stickers, hats, and even Christmas ornaments.
This project began with collaboration at its core. We led an in-depth public input process, including dozens of focus groups, interviews, and site visits, to ensure the voices of residents and business owners shaped the brand’s direction. Based on what we heard, we developed a unique brand strategy & identity, including a new tagline that honors Watkinsville’s heritage while looking toward its future.
